The team embarked on their journey to Winterville on May 6, 2023, to participate in the USA Maverick Championship, marking the opening tournament of the season. Over the weekend, the team played a
total of four games, ending with a record of 1 win and 3 losses.
In the first game of the tournament, the team engaged in a closely contested match that ended with a final score of 3-4 in favor of the opposing team. Despite the narrow loss, the team showcased their
competitive spirit and determination.
Game 2 proved to be a tougher challenge, as they experienced an unfortunate defeat with a final score of 4-9. It was a tough setback, but the team remained resilient and determined to turn things around.
Heading into the third game, the girls united their efforts and secured an impressive victory with a commanding score of 12-1. This triumphant win not only boosted the team's morale but also demonstrated their potential and teamwork.

Tournament 2
On May 13, 2023, the team embarked on a special journey to Kinston to participate in the Mother's Day Tournament, a celebration of the fantastic mothers who steadfastly support this remarkable group of
girls. The day's events resulted in a memorable performance, with the team concluding the tournament with a record of 2 wins and 1 loss.
In the opening game of the tournament, the team delivered an exhilarating performance and clinched a thrilling victory with a final score of 10-9. The game was a true testament to their dedication and teamwork, as they managed to secure the win by the narrowest of margins.
The second game of the day saw the team engage in a closely contested match, but unfortunately, they fell short with a final score of 5-7. Despite the loss, the players continued to demonstrate their commitment and sportsmanship on the field.
Following the pool play, the girls showcased their prowess and determination, securing the top seed in the Silver Bracket. This achievement propelled them directly to the Championship game, where they showcased their talent and unity once again.
In the Championship game, the team left an indelible mark with an impressive victory, boasting a commanding score of 10-2. This triumphant win not only highlighted their skills but also served as a

Tournament 3
The team embarked on an eventful weekend on May 20 and 21, 2023, as they traveled to Tarboro to participate in the Spring World Series. Over the course of the tournament, the girls encountered challenges and victories, concluding with a record of 2 wins, 3 losses, and 1 tie.
The opening game of the tournament resulted in an exciting tie, with both teams ending with a score of 4-4. It was a well-fought match that showcased the team's resilience and determination.
In the second game, the girls faced a formidable opponent and experienced a tough loss with a final score of 0-10. While the result was not what they had hoped for, the team remained committed to
improving and giving their best.
After the pool play, the girls were seeded as the #6 seed in the bracket. Their journey continued as they competed in the first bracket game, where they engaged in a close match and suffered a narrow defeat
with a final score of 6-7. Strikingly, this game was against the same team that they had previously lost to with a score of 0-10.
Determined to turn the tide, the team rallied in Game 4 and secured a resounding victory with a final score of 14-1. A standout moment occurred during this game when Paisley Baker scored an In-the-Park 2 run Homerun, adding to the team & #39;s achievements. Buoyed by their recent success, the girls triumphed in Game 5 of the tournament, emerging victorious with a score of 8-6. Isabella & "Bella" Ciancanelli made a memorable contribution with a Solo Run In-the-
Park Homerun during this game.

On June 10 and 11, 2023, the team embarked on an exciting journey to Wilmington, NC, to participate in the Tier 1 Seahawk Experience hosted at UNCW. The tournament provided the girls with a valuable
opportunity to face strong competition and learn and grow as a team. Over the course of the weekend, they played a total of 5 games, including one memorable game on the UNCW softball field.
While the team wasn't able to secure wins in all their games, their experiences were rich with learning and growth. On Saturday, they faced a series of challenges, resulting in three losses. The first game
ended with a score of 5-2, the second with a score of 7-4, and the third with a score of 4-1. These games showcased the competitive nature of the tournament and allowed the girls to identify areas for improvement.
Sunday brought more opportunities for the team to test their skills. In the first game, the girls faced a 4- 2 loss, highlighting the level of competition they were up against. The second game of the day was especially significant as it was played on the UNCW softball field. Despite a 7-0 loss, the experience of playing on such a prestigious field was undoubtedly a memorable one.
Throughout the tournament, the girls demonstrated resilience, determination, and sportsmanship. The competition provided a clear picture of their strengths and weaknesses, helping them understand the
areas that needed further development. While victories may not have been achieved on the scoreboard, the real triumph lay in the lessons learned, the bonds strengthened, and the valuable experience gained.

On July 9, 2023, the team embarked on a journey to Fayetteville to participate in the highly anticipated Summer Shoot Out tournament. Despite a challenging start, the girls displayed incredible determination
and resilience, ultimately securing a remarkable Championship win with a record of 2 wins and 2 losses. The pool games proved to be a tough challenge, resulting in the team going 0-2. However, a break in the action due to rain and storms seemed to ignite a newfound fire within the players.
In the subsequent game, the girls took the field with renewed energy and purpose. They showcased their offensive prowess right from the start, scoring 5 runs in the first inning. The momentum continued throughout the game, with the team ultimately clinching a well-deserved victory with a final score of 7-2. Their performance highlighted their determination and ability to bounce back from adversity.
The championship game presented an opportunity for the girls to once again demonstrate their fiery spirit. With the same determination that had become characteristic of their play, the team secured the Championship win with an impressive score of 2-0. On August 5, 2023, the team embarked on an exciting journey to Greenville to participate in the anticipated Summer Slugfest tournament. The weekend showcased the girls' exceptional skills and
teamwork, resulting in a record of 2 wins and 2 losses and culminating in yet another Championship victory for the season.
Throughout the day, the team demonstrated their prowess both offensively and defensively. They amassed a total of 22 runs while effectively limiting their opponents to just 13 runs, showcasing their
well-rounded abilities. In the first game of the tournament, the girls encountered a competitive matchup and unfortunately fell
short with a final score of 6-3. Despite the initial setback, the team remained determined and focused on making a strong comeback.
The second game saw the team facing off against a seasoned opponent. Despite the challenge, the girls showcased their resilience and determination, finishing the game with a score of 5-1.
As the tournament progressed, the team entered the bracket games with a clear goal in mind: to give it their all. In the first bracket game, they displayed their tenacity and skill, securing a resounding victory
with a final score of 9-1. This triumph earned them a coveted spot in the championship game.
Undeterred by the back-to-back games, the team entered the Championship with the same momentum and determination they had shown throughout the tournament. Their efforts paid off, as they emerged
